Residency Position Available
The St. Mark's Family Medicine Residency in Salt Lake City, Utah is recruiting a full-time faculty member to join us. St. Mark's is a community-based 4-4-4 program with a 16-year history of excellent residents who are well prepared to be family physicians. We maintain the unique and acclaimed "Clinic Every Day" program in order to emphasize ambulatory continuous care and daily interaction between family medicine faculty and residents.
Salt Lake City, the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics, is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by world-class recreational opportunities. Our residents and faculty enjoy the "greatest snow on earth," winter skiing, and summer hiking, biking, boating, climbing, and Utah's FIVE National Parks. The diverse community and affordable housing have made the city one of the fastest growing in the country.
We have recently remodeled our clinic in order to adapt to patient flow with our new EMR, add additional office space, and make space for a larger volume of patients. The clinic is on the campus of St. Mark's Hospital, our sponsoring institution. The St. Mark's Residency is owned and operated by the Utah HealthCare Institute, a private non-profit organization.
We are interested in recruiting a Board Certified family physician with experience and/or training in clinical teaching. Depending on a candidate's interest and skills, opportunities are available for curriculum development, obstetrics, sports medicine, geriatrics, pain management, mental health, and other areas. We welcome new ideas, methods, and people to enhance our program.
Please contact me to further discuss this currently available position.
